The Ascension 2019 conference is being held at the University of Alberta! Alongside the Undergraduate Astronomy Society, AlbertaSat is proud to be hosting members of the Canadian space community from across the country from March 1-3, 2019. The annual conference, put on by Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) Canada, has a theme this year: Sustainability on Earth and in Space, and the role students can play in sustainable action.

The conference will provide an important opportunity for students to connect with industry experts, present their ideas, and strengthen interest in space in Western Canada. The weekend includes presentations, panel discussions, and social events like the Friday Night Social at the Telus World of Science Edmonton!
